It’s taking me a bit to get back into the swing of things, isn’t it. I’m sorry about that. I am trying, but life happens as it so often does. The past couple of weeks has been a mixed bag of good days and days where migraines got the better of me (coming off a two-day one as we speak. Migraine hangovers are no fun, let me tell ya).
Two good things happened, though, that I would like to share. First, hubby found us a fireplace. It’s a fake one, obviously, but it’s still cozy and warms up the place nicely, and I just love the vibe it gives off.
Secondly, it was Stella’s birthday earlier this month and of course, we had to celebrate the silly girl. I can’t believe she’s 4 already! Time really does fly, doesn’t it? One of Stella’s favorite things is going to Dutch Bros and getting a puppicino. Normally, we only let her have a very small one, but because it was her birthday she got to enjoy a proper one, and boy oh boy did that make her day. I love when she gets them because she never puts her snout in the cup, she always does this instead and it cracks me up every time.
After, we went to one of her favorite stores to get her birthday treat from them. She loves it there and they love her right back and always remember her and love on her. Seriously, it’s the best.
Now gimme my cookie!
That’s it, really, for now. I’m going to go and try to get some knitting done (can’t really share yet as this’ll probably end up a gift and I don’t want to spoil that. I’ll show it off eventually, however) in my new crafting corner. It’s tiny, but then so is our place, so it works out well.
