2016 has been a hell of a year, hasn’t it? So many celebrities lost (others as well, of course, I’m not negating them). I read a quote somewhere that I think rings true: we don’t mourn a celebrity death because we knew them but because they helped us know ourselves (paraphrasing here because I can’t find the actual quote right now). I can only hope the new year will allow us all to regain our breath again.
So last February I made a post of things I would like to get done in 2016. It would seem that the only thing on my list that I’ve actually accomplished is my blog. I never did learn to sew, or how to do macramé, or make art for my walls. I suppose they’ll hold over for this year.
I’m adding a couple of things I would like to see happen in 2017:
- knit two sweaters
- knit the gloves I didn’t get around to finishing
- knit socks
- finish socks
- finish cross stitch projects
- start the cross stitched map of the Netherlands
I did finish a couple of things in 2016, though.
Do you have any resolutions for this year?
That Star Wars coffee is hilarious! Happy New Year, naelany!
