Did you remember to Fall Back (turn your clocks an hour back) today? Yep, it’s that time of year again. Time flies, doesn’t it?
So I’ve gotten quite far with my project, but it’s on hold. Why, you ask? Because this morning I managed to injure my wrist and, well, gripping the frame just isn’t in the cards at the moment. Ice and brace is the name of the game until further notice. Still, it’s looking pretty good, right?
I so can’t wait to see this all finished. So close now! I’m also dreaming about finishing the other two cross stitch projects I’ve got going, as well as starting on my huge map of the Netherlands. I think I may put that last one on my list of goals for next year, considering we’re in November already (yikes!). The other two, however, I aim to finish this year.
With everything going on in my life right now (directly and indirectly), I opted to sit out Rough Trade/NaNoWriMo this time. I’m kind of glad I did, because there’s just no way I could have handled the added stress of writing right now. It does, however, give me the opportunity to cheer from the sidelines and to read some amazing stuff. It’s been a long time since I’ve read quite this much fanfic, but I’m enjoying it.
Given the time of year, my thoughts are naturally gearing toward Christmas as well. Eventually, I hope to make an advent calendar, but I haven’t found any yet that I really like. What are some of your projects for the Season?
