This’ll be just between you and me, alright? I’m supposed to be sleeping right now and I promise I’ll head to bed shortly 😉
Are you familiar with Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple? Apparently they have done a remake of it and while I am very partial to Joan Hickson’s portrayal of the role, I have to admit that I’m growing rather fond of Geraldine McEwan’s as well. Anyway, I discovered the show today (well, technically yesterday, I suppose) and have watched two episodes. As far as I recall (it’s been ages since I last saw the show) they never really showed the back story for Miss Marple, but I really like that they’re sharing glimpses of her past in this version. You should check it out 🙂 I highly recommend the show (and the books, for that matter. They’re rather quaint in a way).
While I’ve been watching, I’ve been knitting. I’ve finally hit the lace stage and it’s coming along slowly but surely. I love the simplicity of this pattern, easy to remember and works up a treat. I’m also enjoying how the yarn is working with it and I can’t wait to see the end result.
Here’s a sneak peek of my progress so far:
