So now that Rough Trade is over it’s time to catch up on all the shows that we put on hold for the month. Which means, it’s time to work on my blanket. Easy busywork that requires little focus. Ha! It’s supposed to be, at any rate, but I’ve already had to tink back several times today. Ah well, par for the course, I guess.
Other than watching our shows, I haven’t really been up to very much. Mostly because I’ve been out of commission for most of the past week for one reason or another. I have managed to work on a new story, however. Funny, the bunnies that come to you when you’re down with a migraine 😉
I’m missing listening to audiobooks in the car. My iPod died, so I can’t do it anymore and it kind of sucks. Going to need to replace it at some point.
Do you listen to audiobooks? If so, how do you do it?
I don’t. But maybe it’s because I haven’t allowed myself the chance to get accustomed to it. When I listen to one I end up fudging what I’m doing with my hands so I figured might as well go with a tangible read 🙂

Might depend on the book? For me, it’s relaxing and allows me to focus on my hands more than watching TV would, while still getting other stimulation. I can’t read an actual book and knit. I’ve tried and it just isn’t happening

Oh wait, I meant of course that when I’m reading (holding a book in my hands), I’m not doing anything else XD
Yeah I guess it would depend on the book, and also the project you’re working on. I listen to TED talks or music or CNN usually.

Lol yeah, physical books and doing anything else doesn’t work for me, either. Some audio books lend themselves better to crafting along to than others, though
