Nevermore! Okay, so that would admittedly be the only thing from the renowned Mr. Poe that I know, but that one is hard to miss. 😉
So Paardje tagged me for a 3-day quote challenge and I figured I’d try to play along. Apparently there are rules to this thing, so I’m gonna quote Paardje on this one: “The rules of this challenge are simple: thank your nominator, post 1 or 3 quotes for 3 consecutive days, and invite 3 other blogger friends to spread the love.”
I’ll do my best to do three day’s worth, but I’ve been a little foggy lately so if I forget, I do apologize up front (since I don’t normally post every day, it’s easy to slip by).
Hmm, this does bear some thinking about. Three quotes*.
I will admit, it took me a long time to really get this quote, mostly because I didn’t really get into Tolkien until a few years ago. But I get it now, and I love it.
I think each and every one of us can do with a reminder of this from time to time.
Again, a reminder that would serve all of us well.
And yes, I totally let my geek flag fly here ;-). After all, isn’t it through stories (be they written or acted out) that we learn the most about ourselves?
