You know, sleep is supposed to be restorative, right? Somehow, I managed to injure myself in my sleep Friday – to the point where the pain woke me from a dead-sleep. You know, the one time I’m actually really out for the count? Typical, right? No idea what happened, all I know is my back hurts like hell from a pulled muscle (that much we’ve been able to ascertain, which is a relief). So I’ve been laid up in bed since yesterday.
One thing’s come of it, though. I think I’ve figured out what I’m going to attempt to knit next. Not sure it’ll happen while I’m laid up in bed (though theoretically, I can), because it’s lace and will require more brain function than I’m capable of at the moment. Pain does that to a brain 😉
Oh, what am I going to make? Well, I was thinking about making another Holden shawl, using this yarn.
I’ve made one before, as you can see, and I absolutely love it. It’s especially shiny because I added the beads, which I intend to do with this one as well. Provided I can find beads in my stash that’ll go nicely with it, I haven’t checked yet. Sorry, I don’t think I have a picture of the shawl blocked, but I promise it looks much nicer 😉
Anyway, I’m going to go back to resting for now. What are you working on right now?
