Superbowl Knitting

It’s Superbowl Sunday today. Honestly, I couldn’t care less about the sport. That said, I’ll be – voluntarily! – watching the game today, because the rumor mill has Deadpool making several appearances. Gotta see that for myself *grin*. Yes, I am a geek. I love comics, both Marvel and DC (though between you and me, more the DC series than the movies for the most part). And come on, Deadpool! The one character that’s able to break the fourth wall! What’s not to love?

So while the game is on, I’ll be knitting, because that’s what I tend to do when the TV is on and I’m able to knit. By the way, if you want to find me on Ravelry, you can find me here.

This is my current project: a circular blanket in Ducks colors: fairly apt, now that I think about it. Of course, those are college ball colors and this is pro ball, but still. Hmm, suppose they could also be Green Bay Packers… right?

As you may have read the other day, my cross stitch project got put in time out. It’s still there, unfortunately, as I haven’t had the wherewithal to try to figure out where I went wrong. Fingers crossed I’ll manage that in the next few days.

It’s kind of strange for me to think that I’ve only been working on this blog for a week now. I’m still trying to find my feet, as you know, but I think I’ve figured out when I’m posting. Sundays and Wednesdays I’ll post about what I’m working on and what I’m reading. I’m excited to share that on Fridays, I’ll have guest posts, starting this coming Friday! My friend Anniina (beautiful name, isn’t it? She’s from Finland) will be stopping by and sharing a little about what crafts and books she enjoys, so I hope you’ll pop in and welcome her.

I’m really looking forward to seeing where Another Piece of Me will go. For today, that’ll be the Superbowl – or more precisely in my case, the ads. What ad(s) are you most looking forward to?
